Since the Middle Ages, shepherds and farmers of the Dolomites have worked wool in very tight knits using the felting technique, called loden. Carded and wet, this fabric is particularly resistant, thick, warm and water-repellent.
Coming down from the mountain pastures in the 19th century, the loden has freed itself from its traditional references to conquer the urban locker rooms of gentlemen.
The house of Faubourg St Honoré has been making capes for its collections since 1937. Soubacq, heir to this wool felt, has made it the hero of its winter with an ultra-classic Blue, practical, easy to wear, to go out on all occasions. time.
